At Drivoo Cab Services ("Drivoo," "we," "us," or "our"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Drivoo Partner mobile application, the driver-facing app that allows you to accept ride requests, pick up passengers, complete trips, and earn money (collectively, the "Service"). This policy is designed to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policy, including requirements around user data transparency, the Prominent Disclosure & Consent requirement, and the Data Safety section.

By using the Drivoo Partner app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal and Identity Information

• Name, mobile number, and email address
• Profile photo
• Driving license, vehicle registration certificate (RC), and other documents required for driver verification
• Vehicle details (make, model, registration number, vehicle type)
• Bank account or UPI details for payout processing

This information is collected during partner onboarding and verification, and is used to confirm your eligibility to drive on the platform, verify your identity, and process your earnings.

1.2 Location Data

We collect real-time GPS location data, including while the app is running in the background during an active duty session, to match you with nearby ride requests, enable accurate navigation to pickup and drop-off points, calculate trip distance and fare, and support trip safety monitoring. Background location access can be managed through your device settings, though disabling it will limit your ability to receive ride requests.

1.3 Trip and Earnings Data

• Ride acceptance, pickup, and completion records
• Trip history, distance, and duration
• Fare amounts, incentives, and earnings summaries
• Payout and transaction history (we do not collect or store full bank card numbers, CVV, or other sensitive financial credentials)

1.4 Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect device identifiers, app version, operating system, crash logs, and diagnostic data to maintain app stability and security, consistent with Google Play's Data Safety requirements.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Partner Verification: To confirm your identity, driving eligibility, and vehicle details before activating your account.
• Service Fulfillment: To match you with ride requests, enable navigation, and allow you to complete trips and earn money.
• Communication: To send ride alerts, trip updates, payout confirmations, and safety updates via SMS, WhatsApp, or in-app notifications.
• Safety & Support: To monitor trips for safety purposes, respond to incidents, and provide effective partner support.
• Earnings & Incentives: To calculate fares, incentives, bonuses, and process timely payouts to your linked bank account or UPI.
• Legal Compliance & Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues, and to comply with applicable transport and tax regulations.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• With Riders: We share your name, photo, vehicle details, and live location with the assigned rider solely for the duration of the trip, to enable pickup and identification.
• Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting, SMS/communication gateways, background verification agencies) strictly to operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, such as to comply with a court order, government request, transport authority audit, or to assist law enforcement agencies.
• No Third-Party Selling: We do not sell or rent your personal information to third-party marketing companies.

4. Data Safety (Google Play Disclosure Summary)

All data is encrypted in transit. Partners may request data deletion at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Retention

We retain personal, document, trip, and earnings data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Trip and payout records may be retained for accounting and legal record-keeping purposes as required by applicable Indian law.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Update or correct inaccurate information, including document and vehicle details
• Request deletion of your partner account and associated personal data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via device settings (this will limit your ability to receive ride requests)

8. Children's Privacy

The Drivoo Partner app is intended only for verified drivers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
